inseparability of body/mind and environment
Buddhist concept that one's physical and mental state is inseparable from the land or environment one inhabits. Often contrasted with 正報 (direct karmic retribution on the individual) and 依報 (environmental karmic retribution).
According to the concept of shindofuni, humans and the natural environment are considered inseparable.
