Used after a noun or the -te form of a verb to indicate that something happens right after another event. Often implies a very short interval.

  He got married just after graduating.

• 新しん入にゅう社しゃ員いんは入にゅう社しゃして間まもないので、まだ仕し事ごとに慣なれていない。

  The new employee hasn't gotten used to the work yet because it's only been a short time since joining the company.

Used after the dictionary form of a verb to express that something happens so soon that there is no time to do something else. Often used in negative or hypothetical contexts.
