たってEven if (casual)
たって casually says that a result remains true even if the preceding action or state occurs. It is the familiar conversational counterpart of ても.
How it works
The first clause presents an action, state, or condition that might be expected to affect the outcome. The following clause rejects that expectation: the outcome still holds. Depending on context, natural English translations include “even if,” “even though,” and “no matter how.”
