ためにFor the purpose of
ために marks an intended action, goal, or benefit as the reason for deliberately doing something else.
An intentional goal
The part before ために gives the goal, and the main clause tells you what someone does to pursue it. In the ordinary two-action pattern, the same person normally performs both actions, and the goal comes first logically.

Goals and beneficiaries
With a noun, のために can mean that an action is done for the benefit of a person or group, or in support of a goal or project.
地域の子どもたちのために、市は無料の読書会を開いています。

AnalyzeChoosing the intended-purpose pattern
Use ために when someone deliberately pursues the action or benefit named as the goal. Use ように instead when the focus is on achieving or preventing a result, especially with negative, potential, or other verbs describing something the person cannot directly control. Also, not every occurrence of ために expresses purpose: when a past event or an uncontrolled situation explains a result, it belongs to the separate cause pattern.
