親が子供の自由に干渉しすぎる。
Parents infringe too much on their children's freedom.
侵害する is used for infringing on abstract rights (copyright, privacy), while 違反する is used for violating concrete rules or laws (traffic rules, contracts). 侵害する can also mean physical encroachment, but 違反する cannot.
Do not directly translate 'infringe' as 侵す (おかす) in all contexts. 侵す is more about invading or violating in a physical or moral sense, and may sound too strong for minor rule-breaking.

To step into someone's private matters or space. Often used in the negative form 立ち入らないで (don't intrude).
私生活に立ち入らないでください。
Please don't infringe on my private life.
