Usage patterns

• 〈人ひと〉がお帰かえりになるfor someone (honorific) to return

  社しゃ長ちょうがもうすぐお帰かえりになります。

  The president will be returning shortly.

• お帰かえり、〈人ひと〉casual welcome-home greeting to someone by name

  お帰かえり、太た郎ろう！お腹なかすいたでしょ。

  Welcome home, Taro! You must be hungry.

• 〈人ひと〉のお帰かえりを待まつto wait for someone's (honorific) return

  母ははは父ちちのお帰かえりを待まっていた。

  My mother was waiting for my father to come home.

• お帰かえりが〈形けい容よう詞し〉someone's return is (early/late, etc.)

  今日きょうはお帰かえりが遅おそいですね。

  You're getting home late today.
