Student slang for the habit of leaving textbooks, notebooks, and other study materials at school instead of taking them home. Often used in the phrase 置き勉する.

• テスト前まえなのに、また置おき勉べんしちゃった。

  Even though exams are coming up, I left my textbooks at school again.

• 置おき勉べんが多おおくて、ロッカーがパンパンだ。
