Usage patterns

• 〈声こえ〉のトーンを上あげるto raise the tone/pitch of one's voice

  彼かれは怒いかって声こえのトーンを上あげた。

  He raised his voice in anger.

• トーンを落おとすto tone down one's manner or remarks

  批ひ判はんが強つよかったので、彼かれは発はつ言げんのトーンを落おとした。
