Tokoname ware
A type of pottery produced in Tokoname, Aichi Prefecture, one of the Six Ancient Kilns of Japan. Often used for teapots, tiles, and everyday vessels.
Tokoname ware teapots are said to be high in iron and less likely to impart bitterness.
In this area, Tokoname ware tiles are commonly used.
