Polite set phrase used to introduce information the listener is expected to already know. Often used in formal speech or writing.

• ご承しょう知ちの通とおり、来らい月げつから新あたらしい制せい度どが始はじまります。

  As you know, the new system will start next month.

• ご承しょう知ちの通とおり、当とう社しゃは創そう業ぎょう50周しゅう年ねんを迎むかえました。

  As you are aware, our company has reached its 50th anniversary.
