惑わく

Buddhist term for mental afflictions that disturb the mind and lead to suffering, such as desire, anger, and ignorance. Often encountered in the compound 煩悩 (ぼんのう).

• 仏ぶっ教きょうでは、惑わくを断たつことが悟さとりへの道みちとされる。

  In Buddhism, cutting off kleshas is considered the path to enlightenment.

• 「惑わく」は煩ぼん悩のうと同おなじ意い味みで使つかわれることが多おおい。

  惑 is often used with the same meaning as 煩悩 (bonnō).
