Tachimachizuki is the name for the moon on the night after the sixteenth-night moon.
In waka poetry, the moon of the 17th night is sometimes composed as an autumn scene.
Related words 居い 待まち 月づき Refers to the moon on the 18th night of the lunar month, one night later than 立待月. Both are traditional lunar terms, but 立待月 is the 17th-night moon.
十六夜いざよい The moon on the 16th night, the night after the full moon. 立待月 follows 十六夜 in the lunar cycle.
