なりに・
なりに・なりの presents a way, result, value, or reason as fitting a particular person, thing, condition, or level. It often gives qualified recognition: the result may be limited, but it still makes sense within those limits.
The standard comes from within
The phrase before なりに supplies its own standard. Rather than comparing someone with an ideal or with other people, the speaker considers what is reasonable for that person's experience, abilities, circumstances, or character. English translations therefore vary: “in one's own way,” “for someone at that level,” “within those limits,” or “as might be expected.”

Characteristic qualities and proportionate results
なりの directly modifies a noun, while なりに describes how an action is done or how a result matches the preceding condition.

This pattern often acknowledges that an effort, answer, or result has some value even if it is not ideal. That is more specific than simply saying “although”: the speaker is evaluating the outcome as understandable or creditable for the level or circumstances involved.
