に言わせると・ に言わせれば・ に言わせたらIf you ask someone; in someone's view
に言わせると・に言わせれば・に言わせたら introduces the opinion that a person would voice if asked. It often gives that opinion a confident, pointed, or mildly contrarian flavor.
A viewpoint with a voice
This pattern does more than identify whose perspective matters. It invites the listener to imagine what that person would actually say, so it works best before a judgment, interpretation, criticism, or personal standard. It does not guarantee that the person used those exact words.
Typical viewpoints
The person before the pattern may be the speaker, an expert, or someone known for a characteristic opinion.

ベテランの編集者に言わせると、この原稿は説明が多すぎる。
According to a veteran editor, this draft contains too much explanation.
AnalyzeThe wording presents this as the kind of professional judgment the editor would voice, not as a neutral observation from the editor's physical viewpoint.
