からると・からすると・からうとFrom the perspective or evidence of

These forms name the viewpoint, evidence, or criterion from which a judgment is made. They often correspond to “from the perspective of,” “judging from,” or “in terms of.”

Choosing among the three

からると presents something as viewed from a person’s perspective or judged from what can be observed. からすると also introduces a standpoint, but is particularly comfortable when the following judgment is an inference drawn from evidence. からうと frames the judgment in terms of an explicit basis such as experience, cost, results, or safety. These are tendencies, not absolute boundaries.
