General term for a ticket used on buses, trains, and other public transport. Covers both basic fare tickets and combined tickets in everyday language.

basic fare ticket
Specifically a ticket covering only the basic fare, not valid for limited express trains without a separate express supplement (特急券). Often contrasted with 特急券 in railway contexts.
