  He ensnared her with a clever story.

Colloquial; to avoid paying a bill, especially at a restaurant or bar. Often used in the phrase 食い逃げをする or 飲み代を引っ掛ける.

• あの客きゃくは飲のみ代だいを引ひっ掛かけて逃にげた。

  That customer skipped out on his drinking bill.

Casual; to drink alcohol, often quickly or in a gulp. Similar to ひっかける in the sense of 'tossing back' a drink.

To splash or throw liquid onto someone. Often used with 水やお湯. Related to ぶっ掛ける but less forceful.
