Usage patterns

• 〈物もの〉を〈場ば所しょ〉に放ほうり込こむto toss/throw something into a place

  洗せん濯たく機きに汚よごれた服ふくを放ほうり込こんだ。

  I tossed the dirty clothes into the washing machine.

• 〈人ひと〉を〈場ば所しょ〉に放ほうり込こむto throw/put a person into a place (often forcibly, e.g. jail)

  警けい察さつは犯はん人にんを留りゅう置ち場じょうに放ほうり込こんだ。

• 〈物もの〉をかばんに放ほうり込こむto toss something into a bag (hastily, without care)

  急いそいでいたので教きょう科か書しょをかばんに放ほうり込こんだ。

  I was in a hurry, so I just tossed my textbooks into my bag.
