discarding a tile that completes another player's hand
In mahjong, the act of throwing a tile that becomes the winning tile for an opponent. Also called 'dealing in' or 'feeding' a win. Compare 振り込み (sense 2).

放銃したら、その局は終わりだ。
If you discard a tile that gives someone the win, the hand ends.
彼は危険牌を切って放銃してしまった。
He discarded a dangerous tile and ended up dealing into an opponent's win.
放銃 is the more technical mahjong term for discarding a winning tile, while 振り込み is the everyday word used for the same act.
