Describes a deep, often emotional, mutual understanding or connection between people. Frequently used with 心, 気持ち, or similar nouns as the subject.

• 言こと葉ばがなくても、心こころが通かよい合あうこともある。

  Even without words, hearts can sometimes communicate with each other.

• 長なが年ねん連つれ添そった夫ふう婦ふは、気き持もちが通かよい合あっている。

  A couple who have been together for many years understand each other's feelings.
