Refers to the lens power of eyeglasses or contact lenses. Often used in phrases like 度が強い/弱い.

Abstract use for the level or bounds of something. Often appears in set phrases like 度を越す/過ごす (to go too far).

回 is the plain, standard counter for occurrences, while 度 carries a slightly more formal or emphatic tone and shows up in set phrases like 一度 and 二度.
度 read as たび means 'time/occasion' in expressions like 会う度に, while 度 read as ど is the formal counter for degrees or for counting occurrences in numerical contexts like 三度.
