Refers to the physical direction something faces, or the orientation of a room/building relative to sunlight, wind, etc. Also used for the aspect or angle from which something is viewed.
This room faces south and gets good sunlight.

Used as a suffix attached to nouns to indicate that something is intended for or appropriate for a particular group or purpose. Common in phrases like 初心者向き (for beginners) or 子供向き (for children).
This book is suitable for children.
I chose a course designed for beginners.
Describes a person's natural tendency or disposition. Often used with verbs like ある or ない to indicate whether someone has a certain inclination.
He has something of the scholar in him.
She is suited to be a teacher.
Used in set expressions like その向きがある (there are people who...) or そういう向き (people of that sort). Sense 5 is a rare, somewhat formal way to refer to a person or group, often in the context of requests or desires.
I cannot recommend it to people of that sort.
