• 長ながい会かい議ぎの後あとはいつもくたびれる。

  I always get tired after long meetings.

Used for objects that have become shabby, frayed, or worn down through extended use. Not typically used for people in this sense.

• この靴くつはもうくたびれているから、新あたらしいのを買かわないと。

  These shoes are already worn out, so I need to buy new ones.

get tired of (doing); get fed up with

Attaches to the -masu stem of a verb to express weariness or frustration from repeatedly doing that action. Casual and often carries a nuance of being fed up.

• 毎まい日にち同おなじお弁べん当とうで食たべくたびれた。

  I'm tired of eating the same boxed lunch every day.

• 彼かれの長なが話ばなしには聞ききくたびれるよ。

  I get fed up with listening to his long stories.
