General intransitive verb for arriving at a destination or reaching a place. Often used with に or へ.
The train will arrive at Tokyo Station shortly.

Used in set phrases like 席に着く (take one's seat) or 食卓に着く (sit at the table). Not used for sitting on a chair in general (that would be 座る).
