  He went to Tokyo to pursue his dream.

Following a predetermined sequence, rule, or trend rather than physically chasing. Common with nouns like 順序, 流行, マニュアル.

• 手て順じゅんを追おって説せつ明めいします。

  I will explain following the steps in order.

• 彼かれは流りゅう行こうを追おうのが好すきだ。

  He likes to follow trends.

Forcing someone or something to leave a place. Often used with から or を to mark the place or target being driven out.
